LES NUITS DU TOURISME DE L’ESTUAIRE/ The nights of the tourism on the estuary of the Seine

If you stay in Belle Isle sur Risle in October, don’t miss the Estuary Tourism Nights organised by Le Havre Etretat Tourism.

The idea is original and worth experiencing! It is completely free and will take place this year on October 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd 2021. It marks the end of the tourist season in the Estuary of the river Seine.

Ten towns in the area have joined together within the Pôle Métropolitain de l’estuaire de la Seine, as well as the tourist offices of the territories, and will be offering more than 50 visits to discover numerous places of interest and free activities.

The aim is to develop and promote the area, and to give a different view of the Estuary’s rich heritage.

The famous Normandy bridge

The city of Le Havre will start the festival and will offer a very ambitious programme on Saturday 2 October from 7pm. The shows will take place in various emblematic places of the city.

The Halle aux poissons for example, at the interface of the city and the 3 ports (trade, fishing and yachting) can be visited (visits mixing history and architecture) while enjoying musical interludes. (It will be possible to have a drink with friends at the bar of the Hall)

The Museum of Natural History will put Australia in the spotlight. The program is: visits, animations, didgeridoo, boomerang and Australian karaoke! Not to be missed! Certainly entertaining!

Etretat will close the shows and its tourism night will take place on Saturday 23 October from 7 to 10 pm.

Five sites have been chosen and will offer original visits and animations: the nautical pole will evoke the sea and its sailors in the form of storytelling shows. Of course, the famous Arsène Lupin, the symbol of Etretat, will be present thanks to actors who will tell the story of his adventures.

The Notre Dame church will host Alice and Pape Cissokho. She will play the harp and he the kora much to the delight of the audience.
